Bolts & Bytes is now a Step Up Direct Provider!

Big news for our families receiving Step Up Scholarships ➪ We are now a Step Up Direct Provider! This means that you will now find all our homeschool and after school programs on the EMA Marketplace. But the best news is that you use Step Up Scholarships, you won’t have to come out of pocket for our programs!

We’re excited to be able to offer another flexible option for our parents who want to provide exceptional STEM education for their children.

Registering for programs using the EMA Marketplace

To use your Step Up Scholarship, with no out of pocket costs, you can sign up using the EMA Marketplace!  All billing is handled inside the EMA Marketplace portal.

1. Find our programs in the EMA Marketplace.
   Log into the Step Up EMA Portal, then go to Marketplace, then Find a Provider and search for “Bolts & Bytes”

2. Review our available programs. 
   We’ve listed the meeting days and times of the program in the descriptions.

3. Add programs to cart and complete the transaction.

4. Coordinate with us to select a meeting day & time.
   We will reach out to you to review the available schedules and help you to select a day and time for your recurring program. 
   ⚠️ Be sure to check out active schedule to see what days & times we currently have available and which ones are at capacity.
   >> If your child has NEVER been in a Bolts & Bytes program before:
   We’ll send you a special code that you can use to register for your program in our system at no cost.  We need to collect information for parents/guardians, emergency contact info and collect waivers.
   IMPORTANT: Please complete your registrations as quickly as possible - your child is not enrolled until this step is complete and our programs sometimes fill up quickly!
   >> If your child has been in a previous Bolts & Bytes program:
   We should be able to manually register your child without any further action on your part.

5. Join us for your program at it’s scheduled day & time. 
   Come by a little early for your first session so we can show you around! 

Using Step Up Scholarships without using the EMA marketplace

You can still register for Bolts & Bytes programs using our registration system without using the EMA Marketplace portal and apply for reimbursements.  This has been a successful option for Bolts & Bytes parents with all reimburesements being accepted to our knowledge.

The benefit here is that you will be able to instantly register for the exact day & time that fits your schedule - without any worry that a program will fill up before we can coordinate the day & time that works best for you.  

1. Register for programs.
   Register for one or more programs directly from our active schedule, paying directly using a credit card, debit card or ACH.

2. Apply for a reimbursement.
   After your program finishes, apply to Step Up for a reimbursement.  We will help you with any materials that you may need, including invoices, receipts and proof of qualifications.

3. Get a reimbursement for choosing quality STEM enrichment for your child!  😄
